01 / Overview

Review heat resistance and mechanical strength against actual loads.

PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic considered for components needing heat resistance and mechanical strength together. Suitability is reviewed individually against service temperature, loads, contacted media, processing and grade.

  • Heat resistance and temperature review
  • Mechanical strength and load review
  • Precision and equipment component review

Review scope
General review guidance. Suitability, grades, specifications and supply feasibility are checked individually with partners against actual service conditions.

Points to confirm
General PEEK properties do not apply identically to every grade. Clarity of amorphous film does not imply transparent thick rods or sheets, or transparency at every operating temperature.

Technical references

These manufacturer and processor references explain general material characteristics. They do not establish a supplier or authorised distributor relationship with CoreChem, or availability of those brands.

02 / Review conditions

Review conditions

01

Temperature and load

Share actual operating temperature, loads and service conditions together.

02

Contacted media

Confirm chemical type, concentration, temperature and exposure time rather than assuming compatibility with all media.

03

Grade and design

Confirm additives or reinforcement, required dimensions and drawings, and review the relevant grade data.

04

Colour and form

Colour alone does not identify grade or performance. Optical clarity in the image represents thin amorphous film; actual availability is checked separately.

03 / Prepare an enquiry

Prepare an enquiry

  1. Application and contacted media
  2. Temperature and pressure conditions
  3. Required form, dimensions or drawing
  4. Quantity, target schedule and required documents

Tell us which technical documents you need.

Specify documents such as TDS, SDS or CoA. Availability is confirmed by product and grade.

Share your requirements and requested documents in the enquiry.
